NOTES

  1. There is an 80% attendance requirement for the course. Students who fail to meet this requirement will not be allowed to take the FINAL EXAM. This is a non-negotiable rule that must be strictly adhered to.
  2. Exams are held once per semester, consisting of a midterm and a final exam. The grade distribution is 40% for the midterm and 60% for the final exam. Exam dates are listed in the academic calendar and are held on those dates.
  3. Yeditepe University Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree Regulations Article 24 states:

Class attendance 
(1) Students are required to attend every class, practical and laboratory work, and any exams and academic work required by the program they are enrolled in or deemed necessary by the relevant teaching staff. 
(2) Students must attend the entire class. However, absences not exceeding 20% of the course and based on a valid reason may be accepted. 
(3) Students who do not meet the attendance requirement will fail that course.

  1. Yeditepe University Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree Regulations Article 38 states:

Examination Principles 
(1) Final exams are held during the dates specified in the academic calendar. 
(2) Students who are unable to take midterm exams for valid and justified reasons must submit their written excuses to the relevant dean's office or college administration within seven working days following the end of their absence. 
(3) Students whose excuses are deemed valid and justified by the relevant administrative board may take their midterm exams on a date determined by the instructor. 
(4) Exams taken during the period of absence are considered invalid. 
(5) Excuses are not accepted for final exams.
