Yeditepe University and the University of Łódź Forge New Academic Partnership
The Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Yeditepe University and the Institute of Eastern European Studies at the University of Łódź have embarked upon a new phase of academic collaboration.
As part of this partnership, Dr Hülya Arslan of our faculty travelled to the University of Łódź, where she delivered lectures on the application of artificial intelligence to literary analysis and the teaching of literature. She also conducted a session tracing St Petersburg through the lived experience of the protagonist of Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment.
In addition, a number of Yeditepe University students are currently pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Philology in Łódź as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
Dr Arslan's visit, together with our students' academic sojourn in Łódź, represents the first steps of what promises to be a fruitful and enduring collaboration between the two institutions.
